PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, mix all the sugar, salt and yeast. Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water.
2. Afterwards, mix in the flour, water and the olive oil.
3. Use your hands to mix everything and bring together into a dough. Ensure mixture is well homogenized with smooth and elastic texture.
4. Place the dough into a bowl and cover with a piece of paper towel before setting aside for around 30 minutes to rise. It should rise to around double its size.
5. Then, divide the dough into 12 smaller balls, cover the balls again and set aside another 30 minutes to rise further.
6. Preheat the oven to 240°C. Alternatively, preheat the Dynamic Crisp plate of the Microwave Oven using the Dynamic Crisp function for 2 minutes.
7. On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the risen dough and spread thinly onto a round pizza tray (1mm thick). It is recommended to use a pizza tray with holes beneath. Alternatively, place on the Dynamic Crisp plate from the Microwave Oven.
8. With a fork, poke small holes into the flattened dough and place inside the preheated oven for 5 mins or until the dough becomes a golden crust. Alternatively, with the Microwave Oven, use the Dynamic Crisp function and bake dough for 4 minutes.
9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 with each of the 12 dough balls.
10. Once crust is ready, spread tomato sauce over pizza base with toppings of your choice, leaving a 1cm gap around the edge. Garnish generously with mozzarella cheese. Finish in oven or Microwave Oven with Grill function for 5 mins or until the cheese melts. For best results, preheat the grill for 3 - 5 minutes.
11. Freeze the unused pizza crust if they will not be used within the next 3 days.
