BEEF CROQUETTE

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 30 PIECES

3 tbsp Olive Oil
½ Chopped Onion
½ Medium Green Capsicum
3 Garlic Cloves
600g Minced Beef or Pork
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
½ tbsp Paprika
6 tbsp Plain Flour
2 Eggs
100g Parmesan Cheese

1. In a medium pan, heat up the olive oil and fry the onion, capsicum and garlic. Once the mixture starts to turn golden, mix the minced meat in and season with dash of salt, black pepper and paprika. Cook until the meat is well done and set aside to cool down.
2. At this point mix the flour and the eggs and mix it well until homogeneous.
3. Once the meat mixture has cooled down, add cheese into mixture. Roll meat mixture into cylindrical form.
4. Bring out 3 separate plates containing flour, egg and breadcrumbs separately.
5. Dab the meat roll into the flour mixture. Brush with egg mixture and then further dab roll into breadcrumbs.
6. Lightly grease the Dual Crisp plate if necessary and place meat roll on it. Place the plate on the high rack in the Microwave Oven. Cook using Dual Crisp Fry function (P5, 250g) for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Users will be prompted to flip the croquette midway through cooking. Serve hot.
